New Year Reset

Who is feeling heavy? Low energy? Skin looking tired? Maybe even lower moods?

Our guts can suffer a lot of strain over the Christmas period, which impacts on weight, energy, moods, skin health, focus and more. I'll delve more into gut health in another blog, but today I reckon some of you are looking for a quick fix reset to start!
And I have one for you. An enjoyable, delicious, junk-free, diet-free, nutrition-packed, energy-boosting, science-based, weight-loss-kick-starting solution. I'll share the link, but thought I'd also fully talk you through how it works for you on here, with a bit of a 'Day In The Life' of the new, uplevelled, 30 Day Reset.
Off to a detoxifying start....

Each morning, ideally start with a glass of water (you could add lemon and mint for a fresh twist!) followed by a large mug of the Nourish For Life which comes in your pack. One scoop in a big mug of boiling water. Containing peppermint, aloe vera, tumeric, liquorice root, bilberry, aswagandha and siberian ginseng, this botanical, superfood blend supports your detoxification, digestion, energy, immune system and stress management.
You might be an early morning workout lover (if so, add the 'e-shot' on the link to kickstart your day!) or you might choose to start your morning with a few good stretches and deep breaths. Slowly count in 3 breathing in through your nose, then strongly exhale for a count of 7. And repeat as many times as you choose.
Breaking Your Fast...

Your first meal of the day can transform your day. Your energy, your moods, and therefore your focus, your decision making and even your relationships! So we'll start off with a fabulous balance of high protein, healthy fats, enzymes, probiotics, vitamins and minerals. All in delicious shake or bowl form. In fact, on this reset, you'll have the same for breakfast and lunch, but you may decide to vary flavours and toppings. My favourite is making a thick version of the plant-based chocolate shake, with 10g chia seeds, 5g milled linseed, then topped with blueberries and raspberries. Delicious. Your pack includes enough shake powder for two meals a day except for Sundays, when I thought you might like to swap breakfast or lunch for a tasty 'brunch', maybe eggs, avocados, salmon....you choose!
The Hydration

The mission is to never be hungry! Part of this will be down to drinking plenty of water through the day. I've added some delicious 'Hydrate' sachets to your pack, which you can tip into water too for an energy boosting, sweet 'treat'. I say 'treat' but they're fully natural - coconut water, mango juice, pink Himalayan salt, banana and ginger root extract, providing electrolytes, vitamins B6 and B12 and vitamin C. Plus you could enjoy multiple mugs of decaf or fruit tea though the day, if you prefer a mug of something warm.
The Snacks

However, liquid won't always hit the spot, so we need some snack options too. Boiled eggs are ideally, cooked chicken, veg sticks, a piece of fruit (don't go overboard), a couple of squares of dark chocolate (the higher % the better). Plus you could add a box of the 'Isalean' bars to your pack. One box would provide 2 bars per week, a delicious (junk free) indulgent choc brownie bar, with healthy fats from almonds to support energy, hormone balance and boost cravings plus a great protein boost.
The Dinner

This is the part where you get creative. You're basing your dinner around a good source of protein (chicken, turkey, egg, fish, lean beef) with lots of colourful veg. Some options could be a veg packed stir fry, a veg packed bolognaise (use passata not a jar sauce), salmon and veg with a little pesto, cook in a bag chicken breast with a big pile of roasted veg (carrots, courgette, red onion and pepper are ideal), a veg packed omelette or a big chicken or tuna salad. I'm happy to jump anyone who has invested in the reset pack onto my private Facebook page to peek at the recipe ideas if you're stuck. Need extra carbs on the occasional day? Aim for skin on potatoes, quinoa, brown rice or lentil pasta to get a good source of fibre and stay off the sugar rollercoaster.
The Supplements
